In May 2015 we launched Western’s first Summer Incubator, PSI.
Seven youth-led ventures were offered cash, formal mentorship and office space for the summer of 2015 to grow their market-ready business ventures. The program had a sales and market validation focus, and each of the business teams entered the program with at least one existing revenue stream.
Students worked all summer from Propel’s coworking space on campus in Western Student Services room 2130. The seven companies cover a broad range of industries including music, fashion, education, virtual reality, social enterprise and sports.
